Four Oaks Trade Show
The 51st Four Oaks Trade Show in 2023 was a (very hot) success! Thanks to the 300+ exhibitors that created an amazing showcase of international horticulture, the prestigious line-up of speakers who participated and the thousands of visitors in attendance.
2023 was bigger and better than the anniversary show in 2022, and we’ll be looking to keep the momentum going to improve again for next year. The Four Oaks Trade Show is a unique event that reflects the warmth, innovativeness and truly international nature of horticulture – Here’s to many more years!
A huge thank you also goes to the many staff, contractors, helpers and local businesses who work so hard during show week to make Four Oaks special not only to the industry but to the Cheshire community.
52nd event takes place on
3 & 4 September 2024
Four Oaks Trade Show is the UK’s leading international exhibition for the whole of commercial horticulture. From production to point-of-sale, the breadth of exhibits on display is the show’s strength, attracting a broad visitor base. The event takes place on a 23-acre nursery site in Cheshire UK, close to the Jodrell Bank Radio Telescope, covering an area of 13,000m² under glass with additional outdoor areas.
Massive displays of plant material form the heart of the show, with young plant producers using the platform to launch the next season’s lines. Mature stock and specimen plants from across Europe create magnificent showcase displays. Machinery, growing media, sundries, retail products, Christmas trees and merchandise, services and practically everything the sector can use or re-sell is found on the aisles at Four Oaks. More than 35% of participating companies are from overseas.
The visitor profile includes buyers from grower retailers, independent garden centres, garden centre chains, commercial growers, multiple retailers, wholesalers, mail order, online retailers, landscapers, landscape architects, garden designers, professional gardeners, groundsmen, farm shops, local authorities and florists.
What People Say About Four Oaks Trade Show

Owner of Spanish Plants“We ended up having our best show ever [in 2022] with lots of new contacts, orders and subsequent visits to Spain. In our opinion Four Oaks Trade Show has always been the best platform to promote our company in the UK and we hope to build our customer base further in 2023 with an increased range of Plants with approval for supply to the UK.”
Ian Wright

The Cash and Carry for the things we forgot to bring to the show and everyone else beavering away behind the scenes and for making the Four Oaks show a unique family get-together, unlike other exhibitions.”

Dalefoot Compost Sales Manager“Four Oaks is my favourite show of the year, it is so well organised and run, everyone is so helpful and welcoming. The show is always busy with lots of interesting visitors.”

9 Sept 2022“The 50th anniversary was a vibrant event, say exhibitors and visitors… Franchi Seeds' Paolo Arrigo said: "Four Oaks has a new lease of life." Petersfield's Neill Williams said the show was "way busier than expected" and he was rationing brochures by the end.”
