As biotech scientists, the team at Microflor breeds, propagates and acclimatises orchids, hellebores and gloxinias and has done for three decades. The inexhaustible DNA research into strong varieties really only has one goal: the smile a plant can put on a grower’s or end customer’s face.
Success for grower customers of Microflor depends primarily on the quality and variety of range. For this, Microflor says you can trust its plant varieties with having strong market potential. The Microflor breeding team uses the latest breeding techniques in its state-of-the-art laboratories and greenhouses in Belgium.
From a single unique plant to millions of clones. Microflor has been pioneering the propagation of plants through tissue culture methods for years. This allows it to produce plant varieties in which quality prevails. A sustainable process that has been anchored in its roots since the beginning and that has been MPS-GAP certified for years.
After 15 years of intensive cross-breeding, the ViV® Collection was created using the most innovative and high-quality types of Hellebore. All of Microflors selections are from tissue culture and perform well in larger pot sizes (P13-P21) (1,3L – 5L).
